Fall In Love: Shower Edition

By: Sara Collins

As the air begins to get drier so does our skin, if you want to keep your body healthy you need to find what works best for you. Whether you have naturally dry, oily, or combination there is something out there to ensure you are feeling and looking your best. Follow along with this list of items and maybe you will find the secret ingredient you needed all your life.

The first item that is perfect for straight-to-wavy hair is the Delon+ shampoo! I have been using it for a few months now and it does not only help with cleaning my hair but smells good and helps to make my hair not so knotty. I got mine from Grocery Outlet: Bargain Market, but it is also available at: Amazon, Sally Beauty, CVS, Ulta Beauty, etc.

The second item that I use is from the same store and brand as the shampoo. It is the Argan Oil conditioner. This conditioner also works well for straight-to-wavy hair and has helped with my hair not becoming knotty after a shower. As I used to use an Argan Oil hair mask once a month, I swear by argan oil and really like using it.

The third item is a deep conditioner. It is also meant for someone with a straight-to-wavy hair type and smells similar to cologne. While the smell of cologne can sometimes drive people away it is not that strong and it is not as bad as you may think. I swear by this deep conditioner and would love to get a bigger container of it. As someone with long hair, I can attest to the fact that it does go by a bit quicker and I tend to need a new container every month. It helps to make my hair softer, lighter, and a lot less knotty.

The fourth item is lotion, Dove’s lotion for dryskin is amazing for anyone because of the way it is catering to those who cannot have fragrances on their body or they break out. It is also good for those moments when you need lotion for your face during the cold because of the way it moisturizes your skin without leaving any blemishes.

Prepare yourself for fall by trying out these items or using them for inspiration to make a new routine for the season!
